Polished denim

My African closet- denimInspired by my nail polish

Hello Lovelies,

So I know its been a very long time since I did a weekend post. Maybe, I’ll start them up again. Anyway, I recently recieved some polishes from JACAVA London and I have to say I am in love. I hadn’t actually tried Jacava nail polishes before receiving this package so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. For starters, I went two days without any chipping, which for me basically never happens. As at the time of shooting the pictures in this post, I had been wearing the polish for three days and it still looked pretty much OK. I shot the pictures in a hurry so I forgot to touch up before hand. Jacava’s polishes are 9-free which means that they are free from 9 toxic ingredients normally used in nail polishes and they are long lasting, a fact I can attest to myself. And now you can get your hand on their full AW15 range. Details at the bottom of this post.

Jacava Eaton Square- Photographed much darker than it actually is

The starting point for this look was the nail polish. I’m wearing Eaton Square from Jacava’s new Woodlanders AW15 range which is a dark burgundy shade, with a high shine finish. In my mind, burgundy is a classic autumn colour to me so I wanted to play that up and mix it with other autumn staples. As you guys might have guessed by now, I’m not really a denim person but I do default to my favourite slouchy jeans as soon as temperatures start to drop. I wanted to double up on the denim blue so I paired that with a blue pepum top and all burgundy accessories to play up the nail polish.

The winner gets a set of 17 luxury nail polishes so you really don’t want to miss out. Thanks for stopping by, now hurry on over and enter. AJ
